Hello, I have been involved with Equus Health since March 2005 and
thoroughly enjoy meeting all the people in my shops, talking to customers
and getting feedback from owners whose horses have been helped by some
straight forward Equus Health advice or products.
Prior to taking on the business I worked as a PR consultant in London.
I now much prefer living in the New Forest with cats, Patterdale Terrier
and my horse is just around the corner rather than thirty five miles
away. My husband Tom, also an important part of the team is the official
man power for all those heavy packages and voice of sanity. Our helpers Becky and Judith keep me on my toes too, making sure there is always
plenty of tea and biscuits on the go!

Equus Health Wessex Sponsorship Competition Winners
Equus
Health Wessex, your local experts for all natural supplements and remedies,
is pleased to announce the sponsorship of two Hampshire based event
riders.
Jennifer (Beany) Harris, is a veterinary student. Beany has
two young horses which she plans to bring on this season with the hope
of qualifying the more experienced one for a CCI*. "I'm really pleased
to be sponsored by Equus Health because I am very interested in natural
remedies and supplements and hope to eventually be able to use them
when I qualify as a vet. I see this as an opportunity to learn more
about herbs as well as see them in action on my own horses."
Rosanna
(Zani) Fiddes, just 17 still studying at college will be sponsored
for the rest of the 2008 eventing season. Zani is currently competing
her own homebred 10 year old mare Wexland Temptation, she is hoping
to work through pre-novice events and complete a novice event by the
end of the season. She also show jumps with her college team and has
another project with a young horse which she has just started to ride.
Kim Forster of Equus Health Wessex commented, "We are really looking
forward to the rest of the eventing season and supporting some young
local riders who are at the grass roots of the sport. The best kind
of recommendation is always a personal one and we know that our sponsored
riders will be good ambassadors for Equus Health and our wide range
of products."

Sarah's show jumping is going from strength to strength
Over
the last 10 years Sarah Evans has competed various horses from Novice
to Grade A level. As well as competing Sarah also breaks and schools
horses for clients and works as a trainer. She enjoys working with the
local Pony Club and teaches riders who are just starting to compete
at BSJA level and gets lots of pleasure from seeing less experienced
riders grow in confidence with their jumping.
Currently Sarah uses Equus Health Flexi Limbs a mix of
MSM and Glucosamine, Garlic, Winter Glow/Summer Shine and Clivers &
Marigold on a selection of her horses.
If you see Sarah at any events she is happy to chat about her horses
and see if she can recommend Equus Health products to help you.

BEANY'S SUMMER'S DIARY
"I bought James in the Spring, and he was very
poor at the time, so he didn't go to his first event until Mattingley
Pre Novice in May. The Linseed and Fenugreek really helped him
gain weight, and he got a lovely shine to his coat! James is a
thorough-bred ex-racehorse and is a bit of a worrier, and tends
to panic when he doesn't understand, so Kim suggested I try Equicalm
which has helped to take the edge off his little panics! He also
competed at Longleat in the Pre Novice, and overall was very good
(we'll forget the dressage - it was all a bit too much to take
in with the sealions and swans on the lake RIGHT next to my arena!
Shame, because he warmed up really well. He jumped brilliantly
though). We are now competing in Novice classes, and may possibly
contend an Intermediate Novice or Intermediate at the end of the
season, depending on how we are progressing. Bertie, my Connemara
has now done 5 intros, and is coming on really well. He's only
5 so I don't want to overdo it, but we will hopefully compete
in a couple of Pre Novices towards the end of the season, then
sadly he will be for sale, as my veterinary studies next year
will not allow me enough time to compete two horses."
