Hi there, Dawn and I (Mandy) have taken over Equus Health West Midlands from Kim who had been running it from November 2006. Kim has now gone into the slightly different world of fancy dress giving us the exciting opportunity of running the business in the area. We are thrilled at the prospect working with natural herbs and helping people with their horses. The two of us met whilst running a local riding club and soon developed a firm friendship both 'horsy' and family. Dawn's husband and two sons are very musical and my partner, Nick and I have similar tastes - we can often be found at rock concerts together! We both have sound commercial backgrounds and I feel my former career as Sales Manager in stationery and office products has given me an excellent and comprehensive insight on how to help our customers. Combined with my numerous years of experience with horses (I seem to have bred a herd of my own!) I intend to offer an excellent service to the Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire area. We are always ready to help where possible and anything we can do to assist we will endeavour to do so. We are both kept busy with my herd of equines, mainly home bred and
Dawn has tried to reduce the stock by buying a 3 year old off me, but
he has quickly been replaced by a filly foal born this May. Perhaps
I will get down to single figures one day! I find that I learn more
every day from my animals and I look forward to continuing to learn
from my customers and sharing my knowledge with them.
