Hi I'm Emma. Running Equus Health East Anglia is my ideal job as I
get to talk to people about horses all day!
I take great pleasure from helping owners to sort out with problems
that they have with their horses. I have competed to a decent level
in several disciplines and with the technical knowledge of an equine
science degree, I can help with most queries. I get great satisfaction
from the many success stories.
I am really proud of the number of good friends I have made whilst
meeting my customers every fortnight.
I'm lucky to have an enthusiastic support team at home and you may
sometimes see my brother, James or my father Peter helping out when
things get really busy.
Equus
Health East Anglia New Sponsorship
Equus Health East Anglia is delighted to be sponsoring Claire Knowles,
a rising star in the world of Dressage. Dressage is the fastest growing
equestrian sport, with regular TV coverage particularly on Horse and
Country TV.
Claire has two exciting horses, both the rare and striking Knabstrupper
breed.
Stavdals Jackpot is a stallion who started his competition career in
2005 and hasnšt looked back since. He has qualified for the regional
finals every season, is now winning advanced medium, and is working
Prix St Georges at home. The pair had their photo in Horse and Hound
Dressage report in Feb. 2008.
Rughavens Sheik is the 6 year old son of
Jackpot, and is rapidly following in his father's
hoofprints. He has qualified for the regional finals at novice, elementary and
medium levels and recently won his first advanced medium class. Claire and
Sheik recently competed at the prestigious British Dressage Winter
Championships and Area Festival Championships, where their new Equus
clothing has a rather illustrious first outing!
We wish Claire and her horses the best of luck for the coming season, and
hope we will be 'spotting' them in the results pages (but Claire - you're not
to beat Emma too often)!
Jo
practice makes perfect!
Jo Eeley is a practising equine vet with the Coach House practice near
Newbury.
She has previously represented Great Britain in the University Eventing
Team. At the moment Jo is bringing on two home breed horses with great
potential and will be competing them during the new eventing season.
Jo finds fitting in events around her vet work a squeeze but fortunately
has bundles of evergy! She enjoys trialling products for us and particularly
likes to keep her horses on Equus Health Flexy limb and Winter Glow
for soundness and condition.
