About Us
Welcome to Equus Health. Remarkably, we are the only Equestrian wholesaler specialising, solely in high quality natural and nutraceutical products.
Established in 1995, we started life in the west country and now service over 400 retail outlets covering most of the country. We source our products from across the world - all are tried, tested and recommended for the purpose intended.
We offer a second to none personal contact and delivery service to our retailers with excellent advice and knowledgeable support. We can supply a vast range of natural products for almost any equine problem - just ask us and we'll do our best to help.

A continual progression....
Back in 1995 a basic business idea came to fruition; to sift through the ever expanding natural market and offer products that 'do what they said on the tin'.

It started with Derek and Wizzy Doyne-Ditmas who began it all in their local home area, Devon and Cornwall. They offered a unique delivery service to the equestrian retailers, alongside a supportive and knowledgeable advice line service for both the retailer and the horse owner.Derek and Wizzy have had a lifetime of riding experience and have enjoyed competing in virtually every discipline, at sometime or other from racing to dressage. |

Currently Derek captains the Herbal Junkies Open Team chase team with his wife as his groom. The roles are reversed during the summer months for Wizzy's eventing and show jumping campaign. In the latter years of the nineties they spread their business delivering to all the counties of greater South West. It was then that they realised for the business to successfully grow and retain the same personal level of service throughout the country, they could not do it all themselves!

Today they spearhead the whole 'Equus Health family' of twelve franchises from the company's central office, still based in Cornwall. From there the National Advice Line is run along with the daily support for all areas, their retailers and horses owners like yourself. Equus Health has progressed by increasing its network of like minded folk who run their own Equus Health business in each of a dozen areas throughout England and Wales, by offering a second to none service delivering to over 450 shops Nationwide.
